- A Templating Manager creates templates based on those documents.

How templating is applied
When your organization creates a new transaction, you can select the template from the list in your account to include.
When your organization or a signer uploads a document, the Proof platform automatically runs several processes on it. The results depend on the document and your organization's settings. Here are some examples:

Template matching — The system compares the uploaded document to existing templates. If your organization uses the Templating Service, the system should find a match.
Note: if the template has 54 pages and the uploaded document has 55 pages, the match won't succeed even if the content is otherwise identical. - Automatic tagging — When a template match is found, the system applies tags based on the template.
- Document splitting — The system may split one PDF file into multiple separate files if it contains multiple documents.
Template maintenance
We maintain your template library on an ongoing basis. If your documents are updated or errors occur during processing, we investigate and resolve the issue as needed.
