The short answer: The meeting quality network indicators show your network connection quality when joining or already in a meeting with a notary. If you see 3–5 green bars you're in good shape; if bars turn orange or red, try moving closer to your router and closing other apps.


Network quality indicators

Here are all the status indicators and what they mean:

5 of 5 bars filled green
Network quality is very good when all 5 bars are filled green.
4 of 5 bars filled green
Network quality is good when 4 out of 5 bars are filled green.
3 of 5 bars filled green
Network quality is good when 3 out of 5 bars are filled green.
2 of 5 bars filled orange
Network quality is poor when only 2 out of 5 bars are filled orange.
1 of 5 bars filled orange
Network quality is bad when only 1 out of 5 bars is filled orange.
5 of 5 bars outlined in red
Network quality is very bad when all 5 bars are outlined in red.
5 of 5 bars outlined in gray
No network is available when all 5 bars are outlined in gray.

Summary Checklist

  • 3–5 green bars = decent to good connection — no action needed.
  • Orange bars = poor or bad connection — move closer to the router and close other apps.
  • Red or gray bars = very bad or no connection — address before the meeting is lost.
