eSign a Document Sent to You by an Organization

Audience: Everyone

The short answer: You can eSign a document sent to you by a title agency, lender, or business without a notary meeting. Here's how.


1. Open the Invitation Email

Open the email from noreply@proof.com and select the Sign Document Now button to begin.

Creating an account for this won't add you to any marketing email lists. Your account exists only for security and to access your completed documents.

2. Start Signing

Select Sign now on the page that opens.

3. Review and Fill Out the Document

Use the provided tools to review and complete the document.

If the sender pre-populated any fields, confirm that the information is accurate. Optional fields will be marked — you can complete the document without filling those out.

Next, select any signature or initial fields to create your digital signature.

5. Complete Signing

Select Complete signing in the upper right corner when you're done.

If you start signing but can't finish, log in to your account to resume. If the sender is covering the cost of the transaction, look for the Sign for free button in your account.

Summary Checklist

  • Open the email from Proof and select Sign Document Now.
  • Review and fill out the document, confirming any pre-populated fields.
  • Add your signature or initials to all required fields.
  • Select Complete signing in the upper right corner.
