Audience: Everyone

The short answer: Open your phone's camera app, frame the QR code on screen, and tap the link that appears — no app download required.

You can use your smartphone to capture selfie images and identification during a transaction. All recipients and signers can use this method — most smartphones have built-in software to scan a QR code and open the appropriate link automatically.

How It Works

This method is convenient because you don't need to download a separate app, take a photo of the QR code, or type a lengthy URL in your phone's browser. When you open your camera and point it at the QR code, your phone automatically provides the link to open.

Scan the QR Code

  1. Open the camera app on your phone.
  2. Position the camera so the QR code is framed in the photo.
    • No need to actually capture a photo.
  3. Tap the link that appears towards the bottom of the phone screen.

The link opens in your default browser so you can continue the transaction.
