The short answer: Anyone with access to a transaction — the notary, signer, business, or admin — can download the chat transcript from the video section of the transaction details page.
Download the Chat Transcript
To download the chat transcript from a notary meeting, follow the steps below. Log in to your Proof account to get started.
- Open the transaction for which you'd like to download the transcript.
- Select Meeting or Video (depending on your account type).
- Select Download chat transcript in the lower-right corner of the video.
Play the Chat and Video Together
To play the chat and video together:
- Download the video file (.mp4) and chat transcript file (.srt) separately.
- Open the files in a media player to view the video with chat overlaid.
Summary Checklist
- Open your completed transaction.
- Select Meeting or Video.
- Select Download chat transcript in the lower-right corner of the video.
