The short answer: The Proof-Encompass integration allows lenders to place and update closing orders directly from Encompass — loans are automatically converted to transactions in Proof, and closing documents are automatically split, labeled, and tagged.

What is Encompass?
The Encompass integration with Proof allows closers to integrate their current workflow with Proof to create a seamless signing experience for borrowers. The integration allows lenders to place and update orders from the Proof eClosing form inside Encompass — a one-stop-shop.
A user of Encompass inputs loan-level data about individual borrowers or a borrower pair into various sections of the loan creation process. Various validations (custom and standard) prevent a user from advancing with the loan process if not completed. See What Does the Encompass Integration Currently Support? for more information.
What does the Proof-Encompass integration provide?
- Fully automated processing of loan information and closing documents generated within Encompass.
- Encompass loans are automatically converted into transactions in Proof.
- Closing documents are automatically split, labeled, and tagged.
The integration uses one custom input form installed into the lender's Encompass instance:
The lender can place and update orders from a single screen in Encompass. The available closing types include hybrid, hybrid with eNote, and online closings. When placing an order, the transaction is created in Proof and documents are pulled from Encompass using ICE Mortgage Technology's APIs.
Data
Proof pulls File Contacts on a loan in Encompass. See Map File Contacts from Encompass to Proof for more information.
Documents
When final closing documents are generated, information inputted into the documents is placed in its respective places on the PDFs within Encompass. These documents must be added to the eFolder in Encompass. eSigned documents will automatically push back into Encompass, keeping everything trackable in one place.
See the resources below for how documents must be ordered to Proof and options for pushing executed documents back into Encompass:
